Along the Riva dei Sette Martiri in Venice, you’ll find an evocative monument: La Partigiana. This bronze sculpture, partially submerged in the water, is a tribute to the women who fought for freedom during the Italian Resistance. Initially designed by Leoncillo Leonardi in 1954, it was later reimagined by Augusto Murer and placed on a platform designed by Carlo Scarpa.
